Researching for descendants of my grandmother's grandgrandmother, Rosina Wedeles, I got in contact with Colin Wels from England, who later turned out as a distant cousin of mine. His grand-grandfather was Simon Wedeles, who called himself Wels later.
Simon Wels' memoirs, written in chech, have been translated to english by Gerry Turner, until now have not been published (except a small private edition of 5 books made by my mother).
The title alludes his uncle Bernhard, where the family used to meet.
